The Board of Trustees of Laramie County Community College District approved a resolution on Aug. 16, 2017, calling for a November 7 election on the question of issuing general obligation bonds to fund a number of repairs, renovations and expansion to its Cheyenne campus. Two ways to vote in the LCCC Bond Election - Your Choice

1) Absentee/mail ballot - If you are a registered voter and want to vote by absentee ballot, come to the Election Office during business hours Nov. 1-6 to receive your ballot. Monday, Nov. 6, is the last day to request an absentee ballot. You may designate a family member or other person to deliver your ballot by providing written authorization to our office. Questions? 2) Vote at any Vote Center on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who may register & vote:

  • 18 years of age by Election Day
  • U.S. citizen
  • Laramie County resident and resident of the precinct in which they register
  • Not convicted of felony unless voting rights have been restored
  • Not currently adjudicated mentally incompetent

Registering to vote:

  • Visit the Laramie County Clerk's Election Office or your town clerk in Albin, Burns or Pine Bluffs. Bring your valid, government-issued photo ID.
  • Register at any Vote Center on Election Day. Bring your valid, government-issued photo ID
  • Register by mail: Download the Voter Registration Form and follow the instructions. Sign the registration oath in the presence of a Notary or Registry Agent and have the Notary/Agent sign the form. Mail the form and a copy of your ID to the Laramie County Clerk's Office, PO Box 608, Cheyenne, WY 82003.

When you request an absentee ballot, give us your name as listed on the voter registration roll; date of birth, Laramie County residential address, and the address where you want your ballot mailed.

Make Your Vote Count. Absentee ballots must be returned to the Clerk's office not later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots arriving after the deadline will not be counted. Mailing within Laramie County may take seven (7) days, longer if mailed from outside the county.
